I loved this scene. Aside from telling Burt about his father issues, this was really the first time we got to see a glimpse into what Blaine had gone through before he met Kurt. 

We know that he was bullied enough to have to transfer to Dalton, but we never knew how bad it was. And, clearly, Blaine and Kurt had never discussed it either, because telling Kurt about getting the crap kicked out of him was a huge confession and a surprise to Kurt.

And we can see how much it still bothers Blaine (I mean, obviously. Why wouldn’t it?) but it was our first real glimpse into Blangst and Darren pulled it off spectacularly.

Also, they were on a date. :D
